Man sought in marijuana bust

WARREN — Police are looking for a second man in connection with what authorities call a large marijuana growing operation in Trumbull County.

Tony Houng, 44, or Chrysann Drive, Girard, appeared in Girard Municipal Court last week on felony charges of cultivating marijuana.

Now, officers with the Trumbull, Ashtabula, Geauga Law Enforcement Task Force are looking for a friend of Houng’s believed to be associated with the marijuana growing operation.

Court records show that felony charges of cultivating marijuana have been filed against Kin Van Tran, 52, of King Graves Road, Howland. Sgt. Jeff Orr, commander of the TAG task force, said officers are trying to locate Tran.
