Mammogram screenings set Monday at Youngstown YWCA

YOUNGSTOWN — The MammoVan, a mobile mammography unit, will offer breast cancer screenings to Mahoning Valley women between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday at the YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave.

Financial assistance for the screening may be available for women who qualify. Free transportation to appointments for mammograms, breast cancer diagnostic testing, treatment and follow-up care at local health care providers also may also be available.

The service is sponsored by the YWCA’s ENCOREplus breast cancer awareness program. ENCOREplus provides breast health education, monthly screenings and referrals to low or no-cost services.
