Bradford gets 17 years in prison

AKRON — Damian Bradford, the man who killed Dr. Gulam Moonda on the Ohio Turnpike, was sentenced to 17 1/2 years in prison this morning by a federal judge.

Prosecutors said they could not have prosecuted Dr. Moonda's widow, Donna, without Bradford's help.

Bradford expressed remorse. "I want his family to know in my heart I'm sorry," Bradford said.
