Scouting report: Both teams need a victory in bids for a playoff spot. Last week Fire QB Joe Steele was 28-of-42 for 309 yards against Albany. He didn’t play against the Thunder May 5 at the Chevrolet Centre. In that game, Shane Adler was 17-of-33 for 237 yards and 4 TDs. Thunder QB Glen Gauntt was 18-of-36 for 267 yards and 5 TDs, but he also threw an interception. In that game the Thunder fell behind 24-7 in the first quarter and spent the rest of the night playing catch up. It was 38-28 at halftime.
