UPHOLSTERER | Owner stays busy

The business opened as Frank Hubert’s Upholstery. In 1982, Ted Gavozzi took over when Hubert, his father-in-law, died.

Gavozzi worked with two brothers-in-law until they were too old, and he changed the name of the business to Gavozzi Upholstery.

The store is at 3006 South Ave. in Youngstown and is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and additionally Monday through Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.
