A story in the June 27 Vindicator incorrectly reported that William Bagnola, president of the Youngstown Education Association, said the 65 early-retirement deals violated the terms of the union’s contract. Bagnola’s correct statement is that job cuts in excess of the early-retirement deals violate the contract.
