Warren man in emergency room

AUSTINTOWN — A Warren man was in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Health Center after passing out at the wheel and striking another vehicle.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Guy Bowman of Warren, no age available, was traveling east on Mahoning Avenue about 1:25 p.m. today. He passed out due to a medical condition and then struck another car, driven by Elizabeth Schuffert, 47, of Greenville, Pa. who was stopped at the traffic signal at Wilcox Road.

The state patrol is investigating.
