Warren cops investigate robbery

WARREN — A 28-year-old Warren woman was robbed of her money after the thief jumped into her car and ordered her to drive off. The victim told police she was leaving a bar in the 900 block of Mahoning Avenue early this morning. As she was getting into her car, a man approach seeking a ride.

When she turned him down, the man got into the car and put what she said felt like a gun to her ribs. She was ordered to drive to a West Market Street fast-food restaurant and he fled with her money, police reported.
