Warren man is charged in armed robbery

WARREN -- A city man has been charged with one of two armed robberies pulled off in as many days.
Terrence L. Brogdon, 44, of Oriole Place, was arraigned Tuesday before municipal Judge Terry Ivanchak on a charge of aggravated robbery. Bond was set at 35,000 and a preliminary hearing scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Feb. 8.
According to a police report, a man walked into J & amp;S Bar, 2382 W. Market St., early Tuesday, pulled a gun and robbed a man of his ring, watch and gold chain. The victim got into his car and followed the vehicle Brogdon was driving around the city. He called police, who arrested Brogdon at Oak Street and Highland Avenue.
Neither a gun nor the stolen merchandise was found on him, the police report noted.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a gunman who robbed a Papa John's pizza delivery driver Monday night.
The delivery man told police he went to make a delivery at 634 Fairfield St. about 8:45 p.m. He went to the back door and was confronted by a man brandishing a gun. He took up to 120.
The gunman said he still wanted the pizza. When the victim returned to his car, he got in and sped off.
