HOWLAND -- A honeymoon on the Hawaiian islands of Oahu and Maui followed the Dec. 30 wedding of Shelly Kloss and Nick Kovach.
The Rev. Dr. Larry Kline presided as the couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 5 p.m. ceremony at the Grand Pavilion of the Avalon Inn and Resort.
A reception followed at the ballroom of the Avalon Inn for the daughter of Bryan and Pam Kloss, 137 Topaz Circle, Canfield, and the son of Ken and Nancy Kovach, 3069 Surrey Hill Lane, Stow.
The bride wore a strapless white satin gown that featured a pleated bodice, beading down the sides, and a chapel train.
Wearing scarlet gowns were the honor attendants, Stephanie Hanrahan and the bride's sister, Kelsey Kloss; the bridesmaids, Nicole Buchanan and Dana Weiler; and junior bridesmaid, Taylor Hanigosky, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Molly Horvath.
Sharing the duties of best man were Kevin Kovach, brother of the groom, and Kevin Vaughn. Groomsmen were Ian Leister, Pat Lowrey and the bride's brother, Bryan Kloss.
The couple live in Oxnard, Calif., where the bride is a plant controller with the J.M. Smucker Co. She graduated from Walsh University in North Canton with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
The groom is a partnership development associate with Positive Coaching Alliance in Palo Alto, Calif. He graduated from Walsh with a bachelor's in corporate communications and from Xavier University in Cincinnati with a master's in sports management.
