Hubbard man jailed on sex charge

HUBBARD — City police have arrested a Gary Drive man on a warrant charging him with gross sexual imposition involving a juvenile.

Police said Timothy Gaut, 32, was arrested Sunday morning and taken to Trumbull County Jail to be held for arraignment Monday.

The arrest stemmed from a joint investigation with the Fairfax County, Va., Police Department Child Exploitation Unit, police said.

A search warrant served at Gaut’s home resulted in the seizure of several items, including computer equipment, police said, adding that the investigation is continuing and more charges are expected to be filed.
