YOUNGSTOWN -- DeYor Performing Arts Center at Powers Auditorium was the setting Dec. 31 for the wedding of Allison Rae Tyndall and Jason B. Locke and for their reception afterward.
The bride is a daughter of Karen O'Connell Tyndall of Youngstown and daughter and stepdaughter of William and Barbara Tyndall of Girard. Parents of the groom are Sam and Sue Durr of Columbiana.
The bride's beige silk charmeuse gown was trimmed with gold embroidery.
The honor attendant, Betsy Vereckey, and the bridesmaids, Andrea Brown, Kristen DiMuzio, Kelly Fust, Angelica Mancini, Jillian Phillips and Molly Selak, wore black gowns. Junior bridesmaid was Sara Durr.
Best man was Matthew Wallace, and groomsmen were Andrew Cronin, Shaun Miller, Ty Powell, Jared Pritts, Christopher Steinkrauss and Kyle Woodie. Ring bearer was Tyler Durr, and ushers were David and Christopher Hartman.
The couple, who have postponed their wedding trip to France and Italy until August, live at 5143 S. Kenwood Ave., Chicago.
The bride graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in communication and earned a master's in English at DePaul University in Chicago, where she is a program coordinator and adjunct instructor of English and community service studies. The groom earned bachelor's degrees in history and secondary education at the University of Toledo and is a teacher at Martin Luther King College Preparatory High School in Chicago Public Schools.
