Raffle to be scholarship fundraiser

Only 100 reverse raffle tickets will be sold and must be purchased in advance.
BOARDMAN -- "Diamonds 'n Dollars" is the theme chosen by Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals for its eighth annual reverse raffle and dinner.
The event will take place Feb. 25 at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center, and will begin with a social hour at 4 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 5.
More than 4,000 in cash prizes will be given, and there will be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle and a mini-board game.
Tickets for the reverse raffle and one dinner are 100, and additional guest dinner tickets are 25. Only 100 raffle tickets will be sold and must be purchased in advance by calling (330) 652-1784. None will be sold at the door.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit the chapter's scholarship fund for students preparing for the business field.
Tracy Goad and Milissa Ferraro-Gahagan are event chairmen and are being assisted by Christine Simone, chapter president, and Marlene Dailey, Christine Bidwell, Andrea McConnaughy, Roseann Cullen and Lynn Romeo.
