Pancake breakfast
HARTFORD -- The Hartford Fire Association will hold a pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Hartford Fire Deptarment, state Route 305 at state Route 7.
The price of the breakfast is 6 for adults, 5 for seniors and 4 for children 5 to 12. Children 4 and under eat free.
Informational meetingBOARDMAN -- Mahoning Education Association of Developmental Disabilities (MEADD) is hosting an informational meeting for parents/guardians from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Operating Engineers Local 66 Hall, 291 McClurg Road. Refreshments will be provided.
Fundraiser plannedto celebrate scouting
POLAND -- The second annual Celebrate Scouting Breakfast fundraiser will be held at 7 a.m. Feb. 7 with a program to follow at 7:30 a.m. at the Poland Library, 311 S. Main St.
Master of ceremonies will be Mark Luke, and the guest speaker will be Bill Bresnahan of Hynes Industries.
The event is sponsored by Armstrong, Compco Industries and First Energy Foundation. Steering committee members are George and Beth Basista, George Grim, Mark Luke, Rory and Sharlene Phelan, Chuck Whitman Sr., Robert and Elinor Zedaker and Sarah Marino, district representative.
