Houlihan-Amedeo engagement is being announced

CANFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ference, 10055 Lisbon Road, Canfield, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jamie C. Houlihan, and Christopher R. Amedeo, both of 9756 Emerald Hill, Canal Fulton.
Miss Houlihan is also a daughter of John Houlihan, 807 Dillewood Ave., Sheffield Lake, and parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Amedeo of 9465 Beryl St. N.W., Massillon.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony that will take place at 12:30 p.m. June 20 at St. Stephen of Hungary Church in Youngstown. An evening reception will be held by invitation at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, Austintown.
The bride-elect attended Kent and Youngstown state universities. She was a legal secretary for the past six years with United Auto Workers Legal Services Plan in Austintown.
The prospective groom, a history teacher at Jackson High School in Massillon, graduated from KSU with a degree in education.
