Phil Mickelson won his hometown tournament in 1993, 2000 and 2001. He's coming off a 45th-place tie last week in his season debut in the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. ... The final two rounds will be played on the South Course, site of the 2008 U.S. Open. ... The FBR Open is next week in Scottsdale, Ariz., followed by the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
