Man hospitalized after crashing into utility pole

HOWLAND -- A crash on Elm Road N.E. sent a man to Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital late Monday, said Trumbull County 911 center.
The accident happened at 8:09 p.m. when the man's car went off the road and hit a utility pole, the center said. Howland police were handling the report, but details -- including the man's name and condition -- were not available Monday night.
