Hake anniversary to be observed Feb. 9 in Florida

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. --Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hake of Port Charlotte, formerly of Girard, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 9 in Florida, where they have been residents for 31 years.
Celebrating the occasion with them will be the couple's daughter, Kim Hake-Gleason, her husband, Brian, and their three children, who live next door to the Hakes, and their friends.
Mr. Hake served as a drill sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. After attending Youngstown State University, he became production manager at WYTV-Channel 33 before moving to Florida. He is a commercial artist, specializing in architectural renderings.
Mrs. Hake worked in the payroll department at Youngstown Steel Door Co.
