Mardi Gras Party planned for Hospice of Valley



Proceeds will provide comfort and care for terminal patients and their families.
BOARDMAN -- The sixth annual Mardi Gras Party to be held as a benefit for Hospice of the Valley will take place Feb. 17 at Mr. Anthony's, 7440 South Ave.
Champagne and hors d'oeuvres will be served when doors open for jazz time at 6:30 p.m.
A silent auction will feature vacation packages, unique gift items, game tickets, autographed memorabilia and gifts donated by local merchants.
There will also be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle, psychic readings, a store offering Mardi Gras items, dance music, surprises and food.
Admission for the evening's activities is 60 per person, and corporate tables for eight may be reserved.
Proceeds from the party will be used locally by Hospice of the Valley to provide comfort and compassionate care for terminal patients and support for their families.

The benefit is sponsored by National City, and honorary chairmen are John and Denise York of the DeBartolo Corp. and Henry Nemenz of Nemenz Food Stores.
