OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Making their home in Milsik, Germany, are U.S. Army Spc. Peter Rocco Polito and his bride, the former Kasie Lynn Medlock, who were united in marriage during a 6 p.m. ceremony that took place Dec. 30 at the Chapel of Grace.
After the wedding, the couple accepted congratulations during a a reception held in their honor at Sun Wood Lakes Clubhouse.
Parents of the bride are Bruce and Terri Medlock, 8024 Wood Ibis Drive S.E., and the groom's parents are Rocco and Lori Polito, 150 S. Osborn Ave., Youngstown.
Rose-red gowns were worn by the bride's sister-in-law and honor attendant, Melanie Medlock of Phoenix, and the bridesmaid, Janelle Varner of Olympia.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Rocco Polito Jr. of Toledo, and serving as groomsman was another brother, Anthony Polito of Youngstown.
The bride graduated from South Puget Sound Community College in Washington with an associate degree in art. Prior to her marriage, she was employed at Avenue Expresso.
The groom served a year in Mosul, Iraq, with the 2nd Squadron of the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment. He is stationed with the Army in Milsik.
