Brookfield schools could save about 60,000 this year from negating a 3 percent pay raise for some 50 nonteaching employees, Superintendent Michael Notar explained. The Vindicator incorrectly used a figure of 575,000 savings in Sunday's editions.
A Mass honoring Anna DiGregorio on the occasion of her 105th birthday took place Sunday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and will not be held Jan. 21, as previously reported.
