Committee assignments stay same as '06

POLAND -- At their first regular meeting of the year, village council members voted to retain the committee assignments from last year.
Council members at a meeting Tuesday voted to keep Joseph Mazur, who served as council president pro tempore in 2006, in that post for 2007.
Committee assignments also remained.
Councilmen Bill Dunnavant and Al Lind and Councilwoman Chris Yash will serve on the building, lands, utilities, parks and recreation committee.
The finance, wage and insurance committee is made up of Dunnavant and Councilmen Marc Cossette and Bob Limmer.
Dunnavant, Limmer and Lind are on the legislation and policy committee, while Cossette, Limmer and Yash serve on the police committee.
The streets, sidewalks and drainage committee is made up of Mazur, Lind and Yash.
