Summer wedding set by Kyla Matey and James Joyner

NEW SPRINGFIELD -- Sherry and Dennis Matey 1216 E. Pine Lake Road, are revealing plans for the early summer wedding of their daughter, Kyla S. Matey of the same address, and James T. Joyner, a son of Jim and Diana Joyner, all of 14396 Galehouse Drive, Doylestown.
The couple have chosen June 23 for their open wedding at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown. They will issue invitations for their reception that evening at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, Youngstown.
Miss Matey is a certified athletic trainer at Ohio Sports and Spine Institute in Boardman. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea with a degree in athletic training/fitness management and received a master's degree in athletic training from West Virginia University at Morgantown, W.Va.
Mr. Joyner graduated from Baldwin-Wallace with a degree in mathematics and earned a master's in applied mathematics at the University of Akron. He is an operations analyst with Roadway Express in Akron.
