Kathryn Ball, Thomas Farina II are engaged

BOARDMAN -- Thomas and Robin Farina, 5762 Mill Creek Blvd., are announcing the engagement of their son, Thomas J. Farina II, 3844 Sequoia St., San Diego, and Kathryn M. Ball, 979 Breakwater Drive, Annapolis, Md., a daughter of Chuck and Leslie Ball of Millersville, Md.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., with a degree in oceanography, Lieutenant Ball is employed by the U.S. Navy at the naval academy as the character development seminar coordinator and teaches leadership classes.
Lieutenant Farina graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in computer science. He also graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School in Charleston, S.C. He is a naval nuclear engineer aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz aircraft carrier.
The couple will issue invitations for the wedding they have planned for 4 p.m. April 28 at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis. Their reception will also be held by invitation that evening at The Doubletree in Annapolis.
