CANFIELD -- Nuptial vows were exchanged at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 25 as Rebecca Hively and Kenneth Votaw were united in marriage at Canfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. George Lee and the Rev. Don Christensen officiated.
After a reception at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown, the couple left for Niagara Falls. They live in Canfield.
Parents of the bride are Lee and Diana Hively, Canfield, and Walt and Laurie Williams, Mineral Ridge. The groom is a son of Letha Votaw, Salem, and the late Donald Votaw.
The bride wore a white gown with halter-style neckline.
Chile-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Krystle and Danielle Hively, and the bridesmaids, Jessica and Niki Hively, her sisters-in-law; Beth Strickel, her cousin; and Carey and Hannah Hoffman. Flower girl was the couple's daughter, Riley Hively.
Heath and Derek Votaw were best men for their father, and groomsmen were Lee III and Ryan Hively, brothers of the bride; Fredlee and Cliff Votaw, brothers of the groom; and Lee Hively IV, her nephew. Ring bearer was Tyler Hively, and ushers were Aaron and Ryan Hively, all her nephews.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business management, the bride is an office manager with Hively Construction Co. Inc.
The groom served six years with the U.S. Army Reserves. He earned a degree in civil engineering from Bowling Green State University and is an estimator for Hively Construction.
