Four pleas in Girard gang case

GIRARD — Several city teens accused of participating in gang activity and breaking into school buildings reached a plea agreement in Trumbull County Family Court.

Girard Police Department representatives said four of the seven students charged pleaded this week in the juvenile court to two counts of breaking and entering, and one count of theft.

Police said charges of participating in gang activity were dropped under the plea agreement. The four students will be placed on reporting probation and will be required to make restitution to all victims in the case.
