Robert Michael Cicchillo recently completed his doctor of philosophy degree in biochemistry, microbiology and molecular biology at Penn State University.
Cicchillo is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown. He received a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in chemistry from Youngstown State University.
He lives in Champagne, Ill., where he is completing his postdoctoral assignment at the University of Illinois.
Cicchillo is the son of Michael and Cindy Cicchillo of Charlotte, N.C. He is the grandson of Mary Alice Wood and the late William Wood of Austintown. He also is the grandson of the late Alex and Florence Cicchillo of Youngstown.
