CAMPUS NOTES In the spotlight
BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY
Danielle DeWitt, daughter of John and Cindy DeWitt of New Middletown, is a member of the steering committee of the 2007 Bowling Green Dance Marathon. The 32-hour event, billed as Ohio's largest student-run philanthropic activity, is scheduled for March 24-25. DeWitt is the fundraising chairwoman for this year's marathon and has served on the finance core committee and participated as a dancer. She is a sophomore actuarial science major and is involved with the Actuarial Science Society, Student Alumni Connection, Honors Student Association and Phi Eta Sigma Honors Fraternity. She is also an Honors Orientation Leader.
MALONE COLLEGE, Canton
Mallory Graham, a Malone junior from Ellwood City, Pa., won first place with her poetry performance titled "What Women Want" at the recent Geneva College forensics tournament. She teamed with Phillip Demarest, a Malone freshman from Granville, Ohio, to win first place in duo interpretation of the short play "The Sniper."
