All-day kindergarten set for fall in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — Calling it a great benefit to the school district at a low cost, the school board voted to begin all-day kindergarten next year.

The cost to the district will be around $75,000, said director of instruction Vince Colaluca, who is on a committee that explored all-day kindergarten and how to fund it.

The panel presented its findings to the school board at its meeting Thursday at Fitch High School.
