Police seek missing Farrell woman


FARRELL, Pa. — Police are asking anyone with a information about the disappearance of a Farrell woman to call them.

Southwest Mercer County Regional Police Detective Chris Hosa said callers can remain anonymous and should call 911 or the police office at (724) 983-2720. They are investigating the disappearance of Shelly Misinay, 41, of Park Avenue. She was last seen at 4:30 a.m. Feb. 14 in her home, Hosa said.

According to Hosa, her husband went to bed and was awakened at 9:30 a.m. by his two children, ages 4 and 6, and Misinay was not home.

Hosa said they believe Misinay left on foot with her cellular telephone, but records show no calls were placed or received on it since before that day.

Misinay is described as a white woman, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She wears a pair of black rimmed eyeglasses, Hosa said.
