More copper thefts at Harding site

WARREN — Copper thieves took $10,000 worth of new copper fittings and piping sometime over the weekend from the Warren G. Harding High School construction site.

An employee of W.G. Tomko Inc. of Finleyville, Pa., reported that the plumbing materials were taken sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning, when the thefts were discovered.

The pieces weighed 1,200 pounds, according to the Warren Police Department. The break-in was the fourth time materials from W.G. Tomko have been taken from the site.
