Ferguson-Fowler wedding planned in Charlotte, N.C.

COLUMBIANA -- Janet and Thomas Ferguson of Columbiana are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jill Lynne Ferguson, and Matthew Benjamin Fowler, a son of Mary Grace and C. Edward Fowler of Boardman. Miss Ferguson graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in special education and vision impaired. She is an itinerant teacher for the blind and visually impaired at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, N.C.
Mr. Fowler, a graduate of Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business administration, is employed in commercial real estate with the Bank of America in Charlotte.
The couple will be united in marriage May 12 during an open ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at Belk Chapel Queen's College in Charlotte. Their invitation-only reception will take place that evening at Bentley's on the 27th, also in Charlotte.
