New Castle road closed beginning Tuesday

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — River Road between Jacobson Road and Hillsville Road in the city’s Mahoning Township section will be closed beginning Tuesday for purposes related to the Hilltown Bridge Replacement Project.

The road will remain closed for the duration of the project. The project is scheduled to be completed and the road and bridge reopened to traffic Sept. 1. Traffic will be detoured using Pa. Routes 441, 4003 and 4006.
