Farmers dividend
CANFIELD -- Farmers National Banc Corp. declared a quarterly cash dividend of 16 cents a share on its common stock. It is payable March 30 to shareholders of record March 16.
Cortland dividend
CORTLAND -- Cortland Bancorp earned 1.18 million, or 26 cents a share, in the fourth quarter, compared with 1.09 million, or 25 cents a share, in the same quarter of 2005.
For all of 2006, the company earned 4.58 million, or 1.02 a share, compared with 4.33 million, or 98 cents a share, in 2005.

Ex-Monster exec pleads
NEW YORK -- A former top executive of the company that runs the Monster job search Web site admitted in court Thursday that he illegally backdated millions of dollars in employee stock option grants -- a practice that cheats shareholders.
Myron Olesnyckyj, 45, of New Providence, N.J., pleaded to securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud, charges that carry potential penalties of up to 25 years in prison and fines of more than 5.2 million. He promised to cooperate, which can earn him leniency.
