Iowa State 61, No. 13 Texas A & amp;M 54
AMES, Iowa -- Nicky Wieben scored 20 points and Toccara Ross added 12 points and 13 rebounds to lead Iowa State. Iowa State (18-7, 6-6 Big 12) held A & amp;M without a field goal for more six minutes during a 14-1 game-clinching run that ended the Aggies' six-game winning streak and dropped them to 0-6 at Hilton Coliseum.
No. 15 Baylor 75, Oklahoma State 66
WACO, Texas -- Bernice Mosby scored 21 points and Angela Tisdale added 15 to lead Baylor. The Lady Bears (22-4, 9-3) led 42-32 early in the second half, but the Cowgirls (17-8, 5-7) gradually narrowed the gap. Andrea Riley's jumper pulled Oklahoma State to within a point at 64-63 with 3 minutes left to play. But Baylor scored nine straight points down the stretch and held the Cowgirls scoreless until the games final 16 seconds. Mosby scored four points in the late Lady Bears run, while Rachel Allison contributed three. During the Baylor scoring outburst, Oklahoma State missed its first five shots from the field before Maria Cordero hit a jumper with two seconds remaining. Danielle Green led the Oklahoma State scoring with 15 points, while Riley contributed 14 and Dominique Chism 10.
No. 18 Bowling Green 91, Akron 46
BOWLING GREEN -- Megan Thorburn scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, to help Bowling Green remain undefeated in the Mid-American Conference. Kate Achter added 12 points and Carin Horne 11 for the Falcons (23-2, 12-0). Amber Flynn came of the bench to also score 11. Bowling Green took a 13-0 lead to start the game and led by as many as 48 points. Riana Miller led the Zips (9-15, 2-10), coming off the bench to score all 12 off her points in the first half. Six off her points came during an 8-0 Akron run.
Texas Tech 70, No. 19 Nebraska 69
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Patrice Edwards hit two free throws with 24 seconds left then blocked a potential game-winning shot to push Texas Tech over Nebraska. Texas Tech (15-11, 6-6 Big 12) survived three scoring chances for Nebraska (21-5, 9-3) in the final 8 seconds. Nebraska's Kelsey Griffin missed a pair of free throws with eight seconds left. But teammate Yvonne Turner grabbed the rebound, going up for a short jumper that Edwards blocked out of bounds. Griffin got the inbounds pass, drove the lane and tried to force a pass to Jelena Spiric that the Lady Raiders knocked out of bounds. Kiera Hardy missed a long 3-point shot at the buzzer that hit the rim and bounced off.
No. 23 Rutgers 68, Syracuse 40
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Kia Vaughn had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead Rutgers over Syracuse. It was the 11th win in 13 games for Rutgers (16-7, 9-3 Big East), which moved into a tie with No. 21 Marquette for second in the conference. Syracuse (8-17, 2-10) lost its eighth in a row and fourth straight at home, and dropped into a tie with Georgetown a game ahead of cellar-dwelling Villanova.
