NBA ROUNDUP \ Wednesday's games

Celtics 117, Bucks 97
BOSTON -- Boston ended its franchise-record losing streak at 18 games, getting 32 points from Paul Pierce and 21 from Gerald Green. The crowd gave the Celtics a standing ovation for the final minute as they picked up their first victory since Jan. 5, winning just two of 24 games that Pierce was out with foot and elbow injuries. The NBA's most decorated franchise long ago broke the team record of 13 straight losses and seemed destined for the league record of 24 (23 in one season). Mo Williams scored 31, Charlie Bell had 24 and Brian Skinner scored 13 with 11 rebounds for Milwaukee, which lost its fourth straight. Wally Szczerbiak returned after missing two games with a sprained right ankle and scored 14. It was the first time Pierce and Szczerbiak both played since a win on Dec. 16 gave the Celtics a five-game winning streak; they were 2-25 since then.
Wizards 92, 76ers 85
PHILADELPHIA -- Gilbert Arenas finished with 22 points despite another poor shooting performance, and Washington took a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter and held on for its second win in six games. Arenas extended a run of bad shooting with an 8-for-26 performance heading into the All-Star break. Caron Butler scored 16, Darius Songaila added 12, and Andray Blatche had 11 points and 10 rebounds in his second start this season. The Sixers had their typical balanced scoring effort, but went 30-for-79 (38 percent). Kyle Korver led the way with 18 points, Andre Iguodala added 14 points and 13 rebounds, Rodney Carney and Andre Miller each scored 13, while Joe Smith added 12, and Samuel Dalembert had 17 rebounds and 11 points.
Spurs 90, Pistons 81
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Tim Duncan scored 23 points and Francisco Elson added 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds as San Antonio snapped Detroit's seven-game winning streak. The Spurs were playing the finale of an eight-game road trip, but looked like the fresher team as they won at the Palace for the first time since Game 5 of the 2005 NBA finals. The Pistons were playing their fifth straight game at home, but struggled at both ends of the floor in their first loss of the month. Manu Ginobili added 20 points for the Spurs, while Tony Parker had 16. San Antonio's reserves outscored Detroit's 35-13. Richard Hamilton led the Pistons with 20 points, and Chauncey Billups scored 19, including 16 in the second half.
Raptors 120, Nets 109
TORONTO -- Chris Bosh had 25 points, nine rebounds and six assists, and Toronto added to its lead over New Jersey in the Atlantic Division. Morris Peterson added 18 points and five others reached double figures for the Raptors, who shot 59 percent and moved 41/2 games ahead of New Jersey with their eighth straight home win. Bostjan Nachbar had a career high 26 points and former Raptor Vince Carter had 17 points and 10 assists for the Nets, who lost their second straight without Jason Kidd (strained knee). New Jersey is also missing Richard Jefferson (ankle) and Nenad Krstic (knee).
Pacers 114, Grizzlies 104
INDIANAPOLIS -- Jermaine O'Neal scored 23 points, Danny Granger added 21 and Indiana pulled away in the fourth quarter. Marquis Daniels added 18 points off the bench as the Pacers overcame a poor start, caught the Grizzlies in the third quarter and led by as many as 16 points midway through the final quarter. Rookie Rudy Gay had a career-high 31 points for Memphis, including 12 in the third quarter. His final basket got the Grizzlies to 110-102 with 2 minutes to go, but O'Neal hit two free throws and one field goal down the stretch to seal the win. Gay's previous high this season was 23 points. Pau Gasol added 19 points and Hakim Warrick scored 15 for Memphis.
Bobcats 100, Bulls 85
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Gerald Wallace scored 32 points, Emeka Okafor added 15 points and 21 rebounds and Charlotte snapped a four-game losing streak by beating travel weary Chicago. Wallace, who scored 30 or more points for the second time in three games, added seven rebounds. Okafor also had six blocks for Charlotte, which avenged the worst loss in their three-year history, 115-76 at Chicago on Dec. 23. Ben Gordon scored 20 points and Deng added 19 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls, who have lost two straight games and six of nine.
Magic 103, Trail Blazers 91
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Hedo Turkoglu scored 24 points and Dwight Howard had 20 points and 16 rebounds to keep Orlando (27-26) one game over .500 heading into the All-Star break. The Magic took control in the second quarter, finishing the first half on an 18-4 run for a 52-39 halftime lead. Darko Milicic scored seven of those points in a 1:01 span, while Carlos Arroyo had six points and set up Howard for a crowd-pleasing alley-oop. Milicic finished with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Arroyo had 15 points and a season-high seven assists. Zach Randolph had 28 points and 10 rebounds for the Trail Blazers, Brandon Roy added 19 points and six rebounds, and Jarrett Jack had 12 points and five assists.
