Parents announce Lipka-Cubellis engagement

Announced by Richard and Donna Wear, 4635 Walnut Trace, Austintown, and Timothy and Mary Jane Cubellis, 1 Cheyenne Drive, Girard, is the engagement of their children, Stacie Lipka, 7136 Claybourne Ave., Boardman, and Nolan Cubellis of the Girard address.The bride-elect, also a daughter of the late George Lipka, graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. She is an exercise physiologist with Boniface Orthopaedics in Boardman.
The prospective groom is a teacher with Girard City Schools. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. Rose Church in Girard. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at The Embassy in Youngstown.
