VIENNA -- Squaw Creek Country Club provided the setting for the wedding of Nancy Phyllis Anne Merlo, 1809 N. Carnegie Ave., and David Anthony Rubino, 1919 Roosevelt Ave., both of Niles, that took place at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 30 and was followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Center in Liberty.
The bride's brother-in-law, Atty. J. Terrence Dull, officiated for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Merlo, 1868 Merlo Court, Niles, and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Concezio Rubino.
The couple honeymooned at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and live in Niles.
The bride's princess-cut A-line gown of ivory French embroidered tulle over white silk was adorned with Swarovski crystals and featured a cathedral train.
Her sister and honor attendant, Mary Dull, wore a sapphire-blue gown.
Best men were Alexander Rubino, the groom's son, and Robert Cook, and serving as ring bearer was Nicholas Setting.
Also participating were Elizabeth Rubino, the groom's daughter; Anne Marie and Christine Dull, the bride's nieces; and Gerri Struharik.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and is employed by Meyer Jabara Hotels, formerly as general manager at the MetroPlex Center, and is a part-time faculty member at YSU. The groom is director of finance and controller at Schaefer Equipment in Warren. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
