Mr. and Mrs. Hentosh were honored at family dinner on 65th anniversary

GIRARD -- A family dinner party was held Feb. 7 to honor Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hentosh, 1412 Sunny Drive, who were celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
The couple's family includes Michael Hentosh of Estes Park, Colo.; Patricia Hentosh of Norfolk, Va.; William Hentosh of Silver Spring, Md.; and Richard Hentosh of St. George, Utah.; and four grandchildren.
The former Elizabeth Sagan and Mr. Hentosh were united in marriage Feb. 7, 1942, at St. Rose Church, where they are members.
Mrs. Hentosh retired in 1976 as a clerk at the J.C. Penney store in Youngstown. She is a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and of Girard OldTimers.
Mr. Hentosh served with the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1946. He was a teacher in the Howland School System prior to retiring in 1985, and since then has worked part time at Youngstown State University, where he continues to grade the sports officials. He is a member of Girard OldTimers, Mahoning Valley Track Association and Trumbull County Track Association.
