Miss Johnston, Mr. Van Valien to wed in June

XThe engagement of Christine Anne Johnston and Michael Thomas Van Valien is being announced by parents of the bride-elect, Jim and Kathy Clark of Howland, and parents of the future groom, Steve and Diane Carlomagno of Vienna.
Miss Johnston, also a daughter of the late Larry Johnston, received an associate degree in radiologic technology from Kent State University and a certificate of nuclear medicine technology from St. Elizabeth Health Center. She is a nuclear medicine technician in Howland.
Mr. Van Valien, also a son of the late Thomas Van Valien, graduated from KSU with a bachelor's degree in nursing. He is a registered nurse at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
The couple will be united in marriage during a ceremony that will take place June 2 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and also for a reception at Trumbull Country Club in Warren.
