Wedding in May for Miss Cross, and Mr. Christian

AUSTINTOWN -- The engagement of Shanna Leigh Cross and Joseph W. Christian, both of 8616 Seabright Drive, Powell, is being announced by John and Kerry Cross, 120 Edgewater Drive, parents of the bride-elect.
The future groom is a son of Anna R. Christian, 6674 Oakwood Drive, Independence, and the late Glenn Christian.
The couple's wedding will take place at 3 p.m. May 5 at Western Reserve Village Church, Canfield, and a reception will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center. Invitations will be issued for both.
Miss Cross, a human-resources manager with The Great Indoors in Columbus, is pursuing a degree in human-resources management at Franklin University in Columbus.
Mr. Christian graduated from Ohio University at Athens with a bachelor's degree in theatre arts and a bachelor's in special education K-6. He is a supervisor with Whole Foods Market in Dublin.
