Parents announce Sloan-Jarosz engagement

Announced by Rob and Nancy Sloan of McDonald and Andrew and Karen Jarosz of Boardman is the engagement of their children, Karen Elizabeth Sloan and Jason J. Jarosz, both of Columbus.
Miss Sloan graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal Justice and is a paraprofessional with Deloitte, LLP, in Columbus.
Mr. Jarosz, a certified public accountant and senior accountant with Deloitte, graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's in accounting.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. May 26 at St. Christine Church, Youngstown. Their invitation-only reception will take place that evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall.
