Shaffer-Ripper troth is told, wedding planned

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Timothy and Lori Shaffer, 337 W. Neshannock Ave., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Erin Lynn Shaffer of the same address, and David Scott Ripper, a son of Frank and Janet Ripper, all of 1732 Beitsch St., New Brighton, Pa.
The couple's wedding will take place at 2:30 p.m. July 28 at Harbison Chapel on the campus of Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for a reception at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa.
The bride-elect is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Grove City College.
The prospective groom graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in Christian thought. He is director of Christian education and youth ministries at Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church in New Castle, Pa.
