XHUBBARD -- The Rev. Joe Zamary officiated as Sara Ann McCurdy and John Howard Kostelac, both of 1341 Bluffton Court, Columbus, were united in marriage at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 18 at St. Patrick Church.
A reception was held at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre for the daughter of James McCurdy of Girard and Phyllis McCurdy of Hubbard, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kostelac of Wapakoneta.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to the Mediterranean until March and live in Columbus.
The bride's strapless gown of ivory Italian satin was embellished with beading.
Chocolate-brown gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Carolyn Mowrey, and the bridesmaids, Jami White; Melissa Hivner; Tiffany Ungaro; Andrea Testa, cousin of the bride; Megan Hubenthal; and Elizabeth and Sarah Kostelac, the groom's sisters. Flower girl was Mia Hammerton, the bride's cousin.
Serving as best men were Scot Andrews and Richard Yocum, cousin of the groom, and groomsmen were Brian O'Dell; Andy Miller; Scott Chambers; Thomas and Michael Yocum, cousins of the groom; and Michael Testa, the bride's cousin. Ring bearer was Noah Yocum, his cousin.
The bride and groom graduated from Ohio State University, where he is master's candidate at Fisher College of Business. She is a employed by the Salvation Army, and he is an engineer with Northwestern Ohio Security Systems Inc., both in Columbus.
