Library budget

The Community Library of the Shenango Valley became a nonprofit operation in 2007 after the City of Sharon decided it could not longer fully fund the library. In addition to Sharon’s contributions, the library receives money from the state and the City of Hermitage. Here is a breakdown of the library budget over the last few years.

2008: $442,831.

2007: Initially it was $560,000 and ended up at $440,000.

2006: $541,000.

2005: $550,000.
