FARRELL, Pa. — Nick McCartney scored 32 points and was named MVP of the Dresch-McCluskey Tournament. The Irish (5-2) rallied from a 56-46 deficit in the fourth quarter. McCartney was 18-for-22 at the foul line. Dominique Cole added 22 points for the Irish and was named to the all-tournament team. LaVance Turnage was also named to the all-tournament team; he scored eight points Friday night.

McDonald 48, South Range 37

MCDONALD — Lance Ronghi scored 16 points, including three 3-point goals, while Adam Streb added 15 points to lead McDonald (7-2). The Blue Devils got off to a strong start with a 14-0 lead after the first quarter. Joe Mihlan had 13 points to lead South Range (2-7).

East Liverpool 49, Beaver Local 48

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Beavers fell just short in the opening round of the East Liverpool Holiday Tournament. Zach Zelinsky has 12 points and eight rebounds for Beaver Local (1-6), while Ethan Russell added 10 points and five rebounds. Nate Howard led East Liverpool (4-3) with 13 points, while Jason Dickey added 12.

Warren Harding 71, Canton GlenOak 62

BARBERTON — The Raiders (8-0) remained unbeaten behind Sheldon Brogdon’s 20 points, and 16 points and 10 rebounds from Damian Eargle. Chris Henderson finished with 12 points and Fred Williams scored 10. GlenOak (5-2) made 12 3-pointers. Storm Sanders scored 22 points andC.J. McCollum added 18.
