East Liverpool man,23, drowns in Pa.

DARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities found the body of a 23-year-old East Liverpool man in a pond where the man had fallen from a canoe.

The Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver County, said that the body of Brandon J. Davis was found in the pond about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Davis had been hunting from the canoe on the pond along North State Line Road on Saturday when it capsized.

Another person saw Davis go into the water and went to a nearby home to call 911.

Davis drowned. Authorities searched the water and surrounding area Saturday evening. The search resumed on Sunday.
