“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ-TV 21; and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Time Warner Cable channel 15 in Trumbull County): Host Madonna Chism Pinkard will interview Councilman and First Night Youngstown Committee member John R. Swierz to discuss the family-friendly First Night concept and how it benefits downtown revitalization, and economic development. Also on the show will be Lorilyn Shandor and Marcelyn Woodard of the newly reorganized Girl Scouts of North East Ohio. They will discuss the upcoming Girl Scout Cookie Sale that begins Jan. 4 and the regionalization of the organization.
