Pa. deer hunter shot by Md. man

GRANTSVILLE, Md. (AP) — Maryland Natural Resources Police say a Pennsylvania man hunting deer near Grantsville, Md., was accidentally shot by another hunter who apparently mistook him for a deer.

Sgt. Ken Turner says 64-year-old Larry Resh, of Confluence, Pa., was wounded by a shot from a 50-caliber muzzleloading weapon shortly after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Turner says the shot was fired by 47-year-old Jeffrey Orr, of Oakland, Md.
