Ohio Supreme Court justice to swear-in Salem city officials

SALEM — Justice Robert R. Cupp of the Ohio Supreme Court will swear in the elected officials for the city of Salem at 7 p.m. Friday at the Salem Community Center.

Justice Cupp will administer the oath of office to Mayor Jerry Wolford, Auditor James Armeni and council members David Nestic and Rita Joseph O’Leary.

Wolford, Armeni and O’Leary are Republicans, while Nestic said he has been both a Republican and an independent.

Justice Cupp is serving his first term on the state’s high court.
